Gertrude Davidson-Tetteh (Trudy) is a Registered Psychological Assistant under the supervision of Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Martha Ruiz-Shank, PSY28729. Trudy is currently receiving her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She also received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Chicago School of Professional Psychology. 

Trudy has a passion for understanding the complications of human behavior and helping others identify how their unique intersectionalities, like culture, personal experiences, and background influence on their lives. She has had the opportunity to work with people from diverse cultures and demographics, including college students and the unhoused population. Furthermore, Trudy has experience working with individuals and groups dealing with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, adjustment issues, psychotic symptoms, grief related issues, life transitions among other presenting symptoms. 

Trudy approaches her clinical work with a deep-grounded passion, aiming to leave an indelible mark on her clients by intentionally listening, being fully present, and engaging them with empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. Additionally, Trudy approaches all her clients with respect, and endeavors to provide a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment for them to feel seen, and heard.
