Instead of helping her clients on a surface level, Dr. Ruiz-Shank is willing to delve deep into their history:  who they are as people, what has caused their problems and struggles, and how she can aid them in blossoming into the best version of themselves. She is kind and attentive, but also direct, which greatly assists her in helping her clients refute self-doubt. She strives to provide an environment free of judgment and filled with compassion and care to help her clients feel safe and comfortable.
